Only 3 Ways to Grow Your Business

Pictured here with me last year, Jay Abraham is one of the greatest marketers ever to live.

As a mentor of mine, he taught me early on there are only 3 ways to grow your business.

Here they are:

#1 Get more clients. And these clients should look like clients in your top 20% that give you 80% of your sales.

#2 Get your clients to visit more often. Increase their frequency.

#3 Get your clients to spend more on each visit. Make sure your clients know all the ways you can help them.

I do not want to over-simplify marketing.

But sometimes, we need to slow down and focus on the basics before we speed up.

Acquisition and Ascension are the two most important pillars of any strong marketing program.

Want to grow?

How are you acquiring new clients? 

Try giving them an irresistible offer that is hot right now – like a $12 comforter cleaning (all sizes, including down – but does not include featherbeds). Or maybe 30 pounds of FREE wash and fold. 

If you are talking to the right target client, you won’t mind giving them an irresistible offer.

And how are you ascending existing clients? Let them know all the services you provide. Have a monthly service you spotlight. Offer subscriptions on some services you offer like wash and fold or comforter cleaning. Create incentives for bringing in more items. And push complementary services like pants with the shirts they are bringing.
