Give to the Givers, Compete with the Takers

In life, there are givers and takers.

Givers love to give, with little to no expectation of receiving anything in return.
Givers have an abundant mindset and understand there are plenty of resources to create the life of your dreams.
Givers find their batteries recharged once they give to others.
They also see a universal truth that cannot be easily explained – the more you give, the more you receive.
Givers are working to make a positive impact on the world, so they are much less likely to hurt you.

On the other hand, takers are more interested in what they can get or take from any given situation, opportunity or relationship.
Their view is more from a place of scarcity, where resources are limited.
They believe to receive something, you must take it from someone else.
Takers think that for every winner, there is also a loser.
Takers protect themselves from not being a loser by putting themselves first.
Takers show very little appreciation for others.

Like me, I bet you can think of many people in your life who are givers, takers, and maybe some who do a little of both.
I have learned to give to givers and have decided to compete against the takers.
That is because I think the world needs more givers and less takers.

Earth would be a much happier place if people could learn to give before they receive.
The results from collaborating with other givers can exponentially grow your impact, contribution, and value you bring to the marketplace.

Are you a giver or a taker?
What kind of person are you attracting in your life–givers or takers?
How quickly can you determine if someone is a giver or a taker?
