
The Rise of Fall
Oct 06, 2025The greatest opportunities for increases in revenue come at the changes of seasons during the spring season months of April and May and now during the fall season months of October and November.
The goal is to make the spikes of “high season” spike even higher. Think of it like adding more logs on a burning bonfire. It will burn higher, stronger, and longer.
At In The Bag, during these seasonal changes, I like to focus on ascending current clients and re-engaging out of pattern clients.
We like to send texts, emails, and make phone calls to out of pattern clients who have not used our services in the past few weeks, but used our services in the past three years.
You read that right – we go back three years in our database. For infrequent clients, the most likely time for them to be re-engaged is during the change of seasons. When they are switching out one season of clothes for another season of clothes.
Serve up an irresistible offer to these out of pattern clients. It’s like fishing. If you want to catch a lot of fish, you will get the best results if you put on some irresistible bait. I like a 30% or 33% off a client’s next incoming order and only give them a couple weeks to take advantage of it to increase urgency.
This is also a good time to consider pushing other household items like patio cushions (including storage if you will be entering winter soon), comforters, duvet covers, and blankets.
For current clients, you can encourage your clients to freshen up their sweaters and bring their outerwear out of storage and straight to you.
Work hard as we go into this busy season of harvest, and your checking account balance should take a big jump up.
